We are a small friendly society which aims to encourage interest in plants and gardens. Our members range from beginners to seasoned gardeners and bring a range of skills, experience and expertise. All are welcome and we enjoy sharing our horticultural experiences. Read more

  • Seed catalogues with an excellent discount
  • Annual Plant Sale with quality plants at reasonable prices
  • Access to RHS Advisory Service
  • Intersociety Lecture where we join members of other local Gardening Societies

Thursday 29th August: Coach trip to Whitburgh House Walled Garden and Broadwoodside Garden
Leaving Stocksfield Station at 8.30am, returning to Stocksfield at about 6.30pm.

Tuesday 15th October: Caroline Beck - Growing Flowers at 500 Feet
Caroline will describe how she recently started her cut flower business, Verde Flowers. She will tell us about the perils of growing flowers commercially so far north.
