We are a small friendly society which aims to encourage interest in plants and gardens. Our members range from beginners to seasoned gardeners and bring a range of skills, experience and expertise. All are welcome and we enjoy sharing our horticultural experiences. Read more

  • Intersociety Lecture where we join members of other local Gardening Societies

Tuesday 17th October: Mike Dale - Plants by Post
A look at alpine plants illustrated on postage stamps issued throughout the world and how they have been used to celebrate plant life and anniversaries in the plant world.

Tuesday 21st November: Heather McFall - A Rose By Any Other Name
Confused about plant names? Heather will explain their meaning and the need for Latin plant names.

Tuesday 12th December: AGM & Members' Evening - Richard Barnes - 50 Favourite Plants
Richard will describe a wide range of plants and explain why they are his favourites. Followed by buffet supper.
