We are a small friendly society which aims to encourage interest in plants and gardens. Our members range from beginners to seasoned gardeners and bring a range of skills, experience and expertise. All are welcome and we enjoy sharing our horticultural experiences. Read more

Tuesday 19th February: Maureen Kesteven - National Gardens Scheme 2019
Maureen will be talking about the history of the NGS, its beneficiaries and the gardens in the North East area. She will have copies of the 2019 brochure. 

Tuesday 19th March: Alistair Baldwin - The Gardens of Kinross House
Alistair is an award winning garden designer. He will be making a return visit to illustrate how he has been involved with the recent development and planting at the Kinross House Estate in Perthshire.

Saturday 23rd March at Stocksfield Community Centre at 2.30pm: Annual Inter-Society Lecture: Matthew Biggs - Lessons from Great Gardeners
Matthew Biggs has been a professional gardener for over 20 years and is best known for his appearances on the long running BBC Radio 4 programme Gardeners Question Time. Tickets £7.00 which includes refreshments, are available from Cathy Carter 01661 842126.
