Welcome

We are a small friendly society which aims to encourage interest in plants and gardens. Our members range from beginners to seasoned gardeners and bring a range of skills, experience and expertise. All are welcome and we enjoy sharing our horticultural experiences. Read more

  • Seed catalogues with an excellent discount
  • Annual Plant Sale with quality plants at reasonable prices
  • Access to RHS Advisory Service
  • Intersociety Lecture where we join members of other local Gardening Societies

Tuesday 16th April: Alan Furness - My favourite alpines: where and how I grow them in my garden
Our planned speaker, Phil Gates, is unable to come and Alan, an alpine specialist, has kindly stepped in to give this talk.  

Tuesday 21st May: Tracy Foster - A Garden for Life
Chelsea gold medal winning designer Tracy will describe how to get the most out of your garden and how to make it more fun and less work.

Saturday 25th May 10.30am at Stocksfield Community Centre - Annual Plant Sale
Lots of herbaceous perennials, shrubs, vegaetables, herbs and house plants grown by our members on sale at very reasonable prices. Plants usually sell out very quickly.
